You will see a timestamp, the remote hostname responsible for the error if available, and the IP address. You will also see the host ID and run ID which are used by Sandfly internally to track hosts and scanning tasks. Finally, you will see a message with the error text if available that describes what happened.

TIP: Most Errors Are Not Fatal

Most Sandfly errors are not fatal, but informative. Sandfly is very resilient and will carry on if an error is detected.

If you are seeing the same message show up again and again, you can contact Sandfly and we can help diagnose the problem. Most errors are intermittent and related to network or host timeout issues and will clear themselves up.

Clear Error Log

To clear the error log, simply select that option from error log view Clear Error Log button.
